Controller Boards - Load Cell Amps


I've been working tirelessly to bring the sim racing community the products it wants and demands.  I'm proud to have developed my controller boards and make them available to you.  These are professionally developed and engineered, and will do the job you demand.

All of my devices are readily available and I use components directly from large, international manufacturers such as Cypress Logic, Microchip and Texas Instruments.  You'll NEVER see delays from me!

NOTE:  These are USB devices and require no external software to manage.  You plug them into a Windows PC, the driver will install and then you go off to the races.  They're simple.  Also note that due to the nature of these devices, I will not accept returns on them.  If you blow it up, you're on your own.  All boards are fully tested prior to shipping and are certified to be fully functional.

The 32 Button Board - Available for Orders!


The 32 Button board allows for direct connections from push button switches, toggle switches, rotary encoders or rotary switches.  You can use any combination of these types up to 32 inputs.  No matrix is needed, no diodes are needed, no soldering is needed.  This board is about as easy to use as eating pie.

If you are not using encoders or rotary switches, you DO NOT need to run the configuration program.  If you connect encoders/rotaries you must configure the board, but once you configure the board, you don't need to run it again

Why variable gain?  It's simple.  You can adjust the sensitivity of your load cell and still maximize your braking channel bandwidth.   If you have 4096 steps of resolution, why waste half of it by using a fixed gain amp?  My load cell amp (and my 12bit board with integrated amp) lets you use every step you're paying for!

Errata:  Use 100k Ohm potentiometers if you connect pots to the analog channels.

My boards will also allow you to connect hall effect sensors, or pressure transducers to the analog channels, and refer to the manufacturer's data sheets for correct wiring instructions.

I supply shunts on all boards with analog inputs.  If you are not using that particular input, leave the shunt on the GND and A(n) pin to prevent calibration interference. 

My recommendations are limited to what is here on this page.

If you have one of my boards, then I presume you know what to do with it.

All boards are professionally manufactured with clear connection labeling on them.  They follow standard conventions for connections.

Please note that I do not offer various components such as switches, toggles, wiring other bits for sale.  Refer to your supplier of choice for any electromechanical components.  I recommend that you use the following components with my devices of the following types:
  • Potentiometers:  Bourns 100k - #91A1A-B28-B20L
  • Hall Sensors:  Allegro 1302
  • Rotary Encoders:  CTS #288T232R161A2
  • Rotary Switch: Alpha SR2611F-0112-21R0B-D8-S
  • Jumpers:  Standard 2, 3 or 4 Pin, Female - pin spacing 0.100"
